Objectives
Aims of the E+ Education and Training Programme:
TO PROMOTE A EUROPE OF KNOWLEDGE
To encourage the development of a Europe of knowledge at all levels of education and training.
TO INTERNATIONALISE
To contribute to internationalisation and excellence in education and training in the EU, driving creativity, innovation and a spirit of entrepreneurship, while promoting equality, social cohesion and active citizenship.
TO SUPPORT INTELLIGENT GROWTH
To contribute to achieving intelligent, sustainable and inclusive growth as set out in the 2020 Europe Strategy by developing pre-school education, decreasing school drop-out rates, improving professional training, boosting the number of university graduates in Europe and increasing the employability of young adults.
Aims of the National Agency:
RECOGNITION
To raise the recognition rate of learning results in mobility activities.
INDIVIDUAL MOBILITY
To foster participation in Key-Action 1 – mobility projects – to improve the basic skills of participants.
SYNERGIES
Through strategic partnerships, to foster synergies and cooperation among educational and training sectors, youth and the labour market.
IMPROVEMENT
To improve the international dimension of education, training and youth activities as well as the role of workers and youth organizations as supporting youth structures and by upholding support mobility projects with Partner Countries.
PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT
Efficient and effective Programme management.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
To promote the cross-sectoral dimension of Strategic Partnerships.
PROMOTION
To promote the participation in the Programme of people with special needs or fewer opportunities.

The Erasmus + Education and Training National Agency (E+ET NA / AN E+EF) manages only a part of KA1 and KA2.
For KA1, it coordinates, at a national level, the mobility of School Education, Vocational Education and Training, Higher Education and Adult Education, promoting the learning of staff and learners (students and trainees) as shown in the following outline:

Although the designation is “Individual Mobility”, people cannot apply individually. Applications must be presented by institutions.

Transnational Cooperation Activities (TCA)
TCAs HELP NATIONAL AGENCIES FULFILL THEIR OBJECTIVES
The objective of Transnational Cooperation Activities (TCAs) among national agencies is to support the Erasmus+ Programme in the fulfilling of its goals and priorities. In the field of education and training, TCAs aim to support: the implementation of high quality content in Erasmus+ and the mobilisation of a large number of organisations and individuals to whom the Programme is addressed; cooperation among organisations active in the areas of education and training; development of work in the areas of education and training.
